Tailored trainings specific to your organization. We've facilitated workshops for the State of Hawaii to local substance abuse treatment centers and caregivers.
Workshops are 2, 4, or 6 hours long addressing compassion fatigue, burnout, stress management, resiliency, and self-care plan development.
COVID-19 Online Support Groups
I am offering online support groups for the front line workers of COVID-19 (mental health workers, substance use counselors, EAP professionals, HR staff, EMS, and retail staff). Have developed an amazing partnership with the Academy of Experts on Traumatic Stress and the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology to provide this debriefing for our workers. To view the schedule of groups go to AAETS.ORG/FRONTLINE-GROUPS

Move from languishing to thriving. My model is eclectic and backed by evidenced-based practice and science. My goal is to equip you with tools to manage yourself in this ever-changing world.

While my main focus is provider care (clinicians, mental health workers, trauma workers, and substance use counselors), I would never turn anyone away.

I have been in the business of preventing compassion fatigue and reducing the symptoms associated with secondary traumatic stress since 2011 and have since extensively studied fatigue reactions, problem solving, and developing interventions or techniques from other (analogous) fields.
Through that journey, I became a certified positive psychology practitioner, earned an MSW, became certified in problem solving therapy, and recently obtained a certified substance abuse counselor license. I am also an organizational psychologist and researcher.

I consider myself a scientist studying positive emotions, body language, and how we can leverage these to create sustainable change in our lives.

I look forward to sharing this knowledge with you, and during this COVID-19 crisis/pandemic/life-altering event---any provider who needs to debrief can count on me for support.
